Registration for the 2024 Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade is now open!
Registration will close on June 1st - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Parade Line Up Instructions and Vehicle Tags will be mailed to all participants the week of June 10, 2024.

Presented by the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce and brought to you by the City of Crystal Lake, and the Crystal Lake Lions Club we are inviting the community to the Annual Independence Day Parade on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 1:00PM!

Tier 1 is in the front of the parade, Tier 2 in the middle, and Tier 3 is at the back of the parade lineup.

In order to participate in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade on Sunday, July 7, 2024, the Chamber will need the following from you:

1) Certificate of Liability Insurance (COI): A Certificate of Insurance (COI), is a simple form issued by your insurance company. It includes the types of coverage, the issuing insurance company, your policy number, the named insured, the policy’s effective dates, and the types and dollar amount of limits and deductibles. 

• The COI must specify: "Participation in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade on July 7, 2024"
• Certificate Holder: Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce, 427 W. Virginia St., Crystal Lake, IL 60014
  

2) Hold Harmless Agreement: A hold harmless agreement is used as a release of liability in a contract that protects one party from injury or property damage caused by another party.

3) Proof of Vehicle Insurance (if applicable)

All Certificates of Insurance, Hold Harmless Agreements, and proof of Vehicle Insurance (if applicable) must be signed, dated, and emailed/mailed to the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce office (427 W. Virginia St., Crystal Lake, IL 60014) by June 1st, 2024.

The parade has a different route this year and will go down dole to Crystal Lake Ave and down Oak Street ending at St. Thomas. 

Trophies and new cash prizes will be awarded, as follows:
Showstopper Float: $500
1st Place Float: $400
2nd Place Float: $300
3rd Place Float: $200
Outstanding Band: $200

In the event of cancellation, the Chamber will issue the participants a full refund.
