About
CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of McHenry County supports & protects children who have been abused or neglected by providing them with trained, committed volunteers who advocate for their best interest.
We believe every child deserves to live in a safe, loving, forever home.
CASA volunteers are men and women in our community who want to make a difference in a child's life. Our volunteers complete a 40-hour training class and commit to the child throughout the life of the case. While caseworkers, lawyers, guardians, homes and schools change, the child remains in relationship with the same CASA! The presence of a consistent, caring adult in their lives provides a sense of security and stability in a scary situation.
Join the CASA community as we work together to Change A Child's Story! Learn more about becoming a CASA volunteer, attend one of our upcoming events, volunteer on an event committee, support our mission financially.
A child in McHenry County needs you!
