Independence Day Parade

Description

Registration is now closed for the 2021 Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade! Registration for 2022 will begin in January 2022.

Parade Line Up Instructions and Vehicle Tags will be mailed to all participants the week of June 14, 2021.

Presented by the Crystal Lake Chamber of Commerce and brought to you by the City of Crystal Lake, and the Crystal Lake Lions Club we are inviting the community to the Annual Independence Day Parade on Sunday, July 4, 2021 a 1:00pm!

We will adhere to the Covid-19 restrictions based on the State of Illinois' mitigation requirements at the time and date of the event. We may need to limit the number of participants/floats/groups/acts in the parade due to these restrictions. All entries will be received on a first come, first serve basis and we will use this system to determine who will participate should we need to limit. In the event of cancellation, the Chamber will issue the participants a full refund.

In order to participate in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade on Sunday, July 4th, 2021, the Chamber will need the following:

1) Certificate of Liability Insurance - A Certificate of Insurance (COI), is a simple form issued by your insurance company. It includes the types of coverage, the issuing insurance company, your policy number, the named insured, the policy’s effective dates, and the types and dollar amount of limits and deductibles.

The COI must specify: "Participation in the Crystal Lake Independence Day Parade on July 4, 2021".

2) Hold Harmless Agreement

3) Proof of vehicle insurance (if applicable)

All Certificates of Insurance, Hold Harmless Agreements, and proof of Vehicle Insurance (if applicable) must be signed, dated, and be uploaded/received in the Chamber office by May 28th, 2021.

The parade follows its historical 1.8 mile route beginning at City Hall, proceeding down Dole Avenue, and ending at South Elementary School.
